To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

You know how sometimes you read a story and you feel like you are there with the characters? Ya, that's how this book was. I had to keep reminding myself that this wasn't real. This is my first Jenny Han book and I think most of it was just because of her style. I truly connected to the Song girls and loved all of their little quirks! I loved how sassy Kitty could be and how she never gave up on wanting a dog! Margot was a little harder to like because she wasn't there for most of the book and when she was there she was usually getting on to her sisters. However, I can understand that in many ways she was just stepping up and fulfilling the mom position like they all needed her too.
I was surprised by this book. I read the synopsis of this book and I thought that I could guess what would happen. Even multiple chapters in I thought I knew, but I was wrong. (I always think that it's so fun to be wrong.. well about something like this!)

I LOVED Lara Jean's character and really enjoyed how realistic she seemed! From the nervous driving, the baking, her fashion, her relationship with her father and sisters, her inexperience with boys, all of it was just perfect.

I was so, so sad when this story ended! I didn't realize at first that this was the first of a series so now I can't wait for book two! Can I have it now please!?

Hi. I totally felt the same way as you did. I would reccomend reading "The Summer I Turned Pretty" trilogy first, then "Burn for Burn" and "Fire with Fire" because TSITP has the whole Jenny Han's style of writing a novel. And I'm sure can't wait for amother series of "To All the Boys I've Loved before". By the way, it's nice seeing someone who actually read this book and loved it as much as I did. :)
