If We Were Having Coffee... 9/24/14

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I didn't plan to take over a month off from blogging.. it just kind of happened. I've taken breaks that may last up to a week before, but never this long! Sorry everyone!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that this blog turns 1 year old in 3 days! How cool!!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that while I haven't been blogging, I've still been BookTubing at least! My goal is to have at least 3 new videos up a week! And if I'm having a really great week, maybe even 4 or 5!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that unfortunately I won't be posting any new videos this week, however. I'm currently on my desktop computer typing this.. (and I don't have any editing software on here.) I usually use my Macbook to edit, but it's dead. (And I forgot my charger back home over an hour away...)

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I've been OBSESSED with Once Upon a Time latey! I've alway enjoyed the show, but season 3 has been amazing!! I'm ALMOST all caught up so I plan on watching the new episode on Sunday! I can't wait!!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I've just been watching a LOT of TV in general lately. A little too much maybe.. but ya know how that goes. Besides watching OUAT, I've also started watching Outlander AND I've started reading it! I've also been watching Big Brother (season finale is on tonight)... New Girl and Big Bang Theory (they're finally back on TV! YES!)

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I haven't been reading very much these past two months... it's makes me sad. I'm currently STILL reading The Glass Sentence by S.E. Grove. I should just make myself sit down and read it. I won't be allowed to read anything else until it's finished! But that's too hard... I've since started Outlander and I'm about 70% finished! I'm really enjoying it!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I'm very happy that Fall is here! It's my favorite season! Then Spring, then Summer, then Winter. It's been pretty hot here, so I'm happy that it's almost hoodie weather!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I slept in WAY too late today. I feel very well rested now.. but I feel like I wasted half my day away!

If We Were Having Coffee.... 7/15/14

I saw another blogger, Ashley, do a post like this and thought it would be fun to do! Sometimes we forget that booktubers and bloggers have lives outside of blogging and reading, and so I thought it would be fun to chit chat over some "coffee" with you guys!

Grab your beverage (I actually have water) and lets getting chattin!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I'm hoping today is a much better day than yesterday! You know how you have those days where you have a ton of stuff that you want to get done.. then at the end of the day you feel like you hardly got any of it actually accomplished? Ya. That was me yesterday. I wasted so much time yesterday in shops and things and couldn't find what I needed! Then I ended up watching a couple of episodes of TV with Jake (which is normally not a big deal, but I want to avoid watching TV during the booktube-a-thon!)

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you how I just love my new little niece so much! Luckily my sister is like me and loves to take pictures! She's been sending me new pictures throughout the week! I'm looking forward to driving to see her this weekend!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you how I'm really proud of the food I bought at the grocery store yesterday! (Random? A little..) But while I wanted to fill up the cart with soda, Little Debbie snack cakes, and loads of chips and other things I don't need, I didn't! I bought no soda or crappy snacks, but instead bought tons of fruits, whole wheat bread, etc! I'm also doing a lot better about bringing my water bottle with me to work! It's so easy to just sit and drain a few sodas, and while I'm not completely cutting soda out of my diet, I'm definitely drinking less!

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you how excited I am to leave work today (who isn't excited to leave work?) but besides the obvious reasons, I'm really looking forward to going to the park with Jake and Piper! It's supposed to be 72 degrees out today which is around 27 degrees less than it has been! I'm looking forward to walking a short trail and then maybe laying out a blanket and reading! (Unless there are tons of bugs... then let's be honest, I'll just go home and read!)

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you I'm SO HAPPY that's it's finally Friday. Although this week hasn't been NEARLY as tiring (well, at least as far as school goes) as last week.. it was still a long week.

 

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you how excited I am about my new bookshelf! I've been "needing" a new one for many months. I've been hiding books behind books on my shelf just to make them fit. I knew it would be awhile before Jake could build me another amazing bookshelf like he did last Christmas (plus buying all that wood was expensive) so I just went to Walmart and bought a cheap one! I think it hurt Jake's feeling at first, like maybe he thought I didn't want him to build me one now. I assured him that I will be needing MANY more bookshelves if I'm going to fulfill my dream of having a library in my house. 

 

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I had a lot of fun at the Mexican restaurant last night with my friends (and with $1 margaritas) but that I'm a little embarrassed by my obnoxious tweets that I posted.. opps.

 

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I wish I could go home and visit my family this weekend, but my homework is overflowing currently. My goal is to knock out quite a bit of it this weekend and maybe I'll get to visit my family next weekend!

 

If we were having coffee... I'd tell you that I've been really wanting to exercise a bit more, but I'm not a huge fan of the gym. Why is it that I don't mind running/jogging/walking outside, but I don't care for treadmills? I love hiking and walking on trails with Jake and Piper (and sometimes with our other friends too). I don't know. There's something about "working out" in nature that I love.
