The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Hey guys! I thought I would update you on my SECOND day of the read-a-thon! I had some finals today, but I did manage to read a little!
I continued reading The Secret Hum of a Daisy by Tracy Holczer. I only read 11 pages today, which brings me to page 86.I also picked up some comics today! (I'm counting these for the read-a-thon because I DID have to read them and last year I counted Manga so I'm counting these!)
The first one I read was The Spectacular Spider-Man Vo1. 1 The Hunger by Paul Jenkins, Humberto Ramos, Wayne Faucher which was 25 pages. 5/5 stars
Next I read X-Men First Class Vol. 1 (but on Goodreads it says Vol. 2?) by Jeff Parker (Text), Roger Cruz (Illustrator), Colleen Coover (Illustrator) which was 22 pages. 5/5 stars
